Over the past couple of years, we have made great headway in
collecting the yearbooks for Bland High School, Ceres High School
and Rocky Gap High School. We appreciate the many people who have
answered our call for yearbooks. We are still missing a few. Please
check the list of missing yearbooks
and see if you have one we could have.

recipes offered by the History Museum of Western Virginia.
We had a great Membership Meeting Saturday, September 13. Bob Lockett, Past Pres. of the Wythe County
Genealogical and Historical Society, presented a fascinating program about
the basic concepts in DNA testing. He will be giving an advanced
seminar on DNA at the
Family History Institute of Southwest Virginia
Conference on March28, 2015. If you missed the membership meeting
and are interested in learning more about DNA come by the office and
read his PowerPoint presentation.
